The Fee Schedule listed below is to give you an approximate estimate of charges. Pricing may vary, after viewing the jewelry items.

Hourly rate is $150.00 per hour, with a 45 minute minimum.

Verbal consultations are $100.00 per hour, with a 30 minute minimum.

Re-Appraisal

Hourly rate is $150.00 per hour, $50.00 minimum.

Legal Cases, Divorce, Estate

150.00 per hour in-office (1,200.00 per day)
1,500.00 per day, out of office, 1/2 day minimum, travel time included. Plus all travel related expenses (meals, hotel, airfare, etc.)

How long does it take, and why is it so expensive?

Below are three rings, all different, to give you an sample of why it is almost impossible to give an accurate quote over the phone. Think of it as calling up your auto mechanic and saying there is a noise coming from the engine compartment, how much will it be to fix? There are so many variables that it makes it almost impossible to guess, without seeing.

Further, an appraisal is a legal document. The preparation, knowledge, and equipment is provided to give you the best appraisal possible for your situation. If all you are looking for is cheep, why are you insuring the piece of jewelry? The appraisal is there to protect you. Without a through evaluation of the piece, you are left with a guess, and any price is too much for that.
